Theresa Jimmie Knorr is an American murderer who gained infamy for the torture and murders of two of her daughters, Suesan Knorr and Sheila Sanders, in the 1980s. She was born on March 14, 1946, in Sacramento, California.
Theresa Knorr subjected her daughters to years of physical and emotional abuse before eventually killing them. Suesan Knorr died in 1984 after being burned alive, while Sheila Sanders was murdered in a similar manner in 1985. Knorr disposed of their bodies in secluded locations.
Theresa Knorr was arrested in 1993 after one of her surviving daughters informed the authorities about the abuse and murders. She was convicted of murder and sentenced to two life terms in prison without the possibility of parole.
Theresa Knorr's case gained significant media attention and sparked public outrage due to the extreme nature of her crimes and the horrifying abuse she inflicted on her own children. She remains in prison serving her sentence for the murders.
